Welcome to the web site of Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Spokane, Washington, U.S.A.!

This site provides information regarding our parish: its spirit, its prayers and its labors for God, for the Church and for the salvation of souls.

PLEASE NOTE: Read the bulletin to find out this week's Mass schedule. Lenten Sermons on the Virtue of Charity are still available to be reviewed. Click here to enter the Sermon page.

THE PARISH "MASS CAM"

GOOD NEWS!: We are offering a live broadcast  of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass from the church each day that Mass is offered in our church! To access the streaming broadband broadcast camera now follow this link: http://75.150.0.177:8082 and use "mass" for the user ID and "mass" for the password (if the login screen does not come up right away this means that the camera is off). This will take you to a window in our internet camera's program that will let you see and hear the Mass being offered. You can also take part in other prayers and devotions as found in the weekly Sunday Bulletin. The camera is on one hour before each Mass or ceremony and is turned off ½ hour following the end of each event. PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU USE MOZILLA FIREFOX YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THIS CAMERA.

The Rosary is recited each Wednesday evening at 7:00 Pacific time. The "Mass Cam" will be on at that time so that more people can take part in this important and powerful prayer to the Mother of God.

CAMERA QUALITY

Several of our "cyber-parishioners" have written in regarding the quality of the picture and/or sound for either of our cameras. We try to provide the best quality video and audio streaming given our limited circumstances. We would like to upgrade to better equipment that would enhance the quality of our broadband broadcasts, but finances do not allow for this at this time. If you regularly take part in our broadcasts as a "cyber-parishioner" why not show your support by donating to the church as a means of making these broadcasts more available and at greater quality. The easiest way to do this is by clicking on the "Donate" button found in the left column of this page. It will direct you to the PayPal web site for a safe and secure means of assisting us in this important work. May God reward you charity!

"CLASS CAM" AVAILABLE FOR SUNDAY CCD CLASSES.

Live broadband broadcasts of Fr. Vaillancourt's Sunday adult CCD are available each Sunday (when there is class) at 9:45 a.m. Pacific Coast time beginning September 27. Please refer to the Sunday Bulletin each week for any announcements about possible class time changes. This year, Father will be reviewing that portion of philosophical discipline known as Logic, concentrating on the understanding of fallacies in argument and how to prevent being confused and even bested in discussions by such errors in thought and presentation. The text Father will use is The Fallacy Detective, a well written work to make the study of this important topic easy to understand and fun to follow. If you are attending class via the "Class Cam" and would like a copy of this book, please order one from the Sisters at the Catholic Research Institute for $25.00 plus postage. Click here to log in: http://75.150.0.178:8080. The passwords to enter site are "class" and "class." PLEASE NOTE: IF YOU USE MOZILLA FIREFOX YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ACCESS THIS CAMERA.
