Please remember in your prayers these intentions: The

traditional Catholics and the Restoration of our Holy Faith and the
Tridentine Latin Mass; an increase in religious vocations, especially to the
priesthood; the conversion of our country through the power of the Rosary;
for Rev. Mother Marie de Montfort, cmss, Sr. Mary Labouré, Carol Dallen,
Jane Osterhaus, Ted Vaillancourt, and Marjorie Prestini; the defeat of
I-1000.
Block Rosary: Wednesday, 7:00 p.m. All
are encouraged to attend as we pray for our families, the needs of our city
and for peace in the world. The Rosary is also broadcast on the Internet via
our "Mass Cam." You can access this from the parish web site. Let us join
together in prayer, whether in the church or at home, to demonstrate our
commitment to pray for peace.

THOUGHT
FOR THE WEEK
St. Bartholomew (also known as Nathaniel in the
Scriptures) was given high praise by Jesus Christ. Our Lord looked upon him
and called him "an Israelite in whom there is no guile." There was no
hypocrisy in this saint; no pretending to be what he was not. He was a
simple soul whose simplicity and love for God attracted many people to him,
and then to the Faith. Let us all learn how our social relations can be a
spiritual benefit for ourselves and others, if we can be found to be
"without guile."
