                                                 THOUGHT FOR THE WEEK

St. Bartholomew (also known as Nathaniel in the Scriptures) was given high praise by Jesus Christ. Our Lord looked upon him and called him "an Israelite in whom there is no guile." There was no hypocrisy in this saint; no pretending to be what he was not. He was a simple soul whose simplicity and love for God attracted many people to him, and then to the Faith. Let us all learn how our social relations can be a spiritual benefit for ourselves and others, if we can be found to be "without guile."

 Pray for the defeat of

I-1000 in Washington State
